A graph-theoretical tool for priority setting of chemicals.
Chemosphere 27, 1729-1736 (1993)
Ranking of chemicals according to their environmental hazard is an important step in any risk assessment. Instead of using a ranking index which aggregates different substance properties a graph theoretical (Hasse-diagrams) tool is presented in this paper, which preserves almost all features of the ranking index but shows also additional insights useful for priority setting.
