Aerosol deposition to a snow surface.

Dry deposition of aerosol particles to a snow surface was studied. Measured deposition velocities range from 0.1 to 2 cm/s. A pronounced dependence of the deposition velocity on particle size could not be found (size range 0.4 - 1.7 pm mass median diameter).
