Fast neutron response of alanine probes.

The energy response of alanine dosimeter probes with 20% paraffin admixtures for neutron energies between 0.6 and 15 MeV was determined experimentally using accelerator-produced monoenergetic neutrons. Theoretical considerations are made to estimate the energy dependence of the response relative to the response to photons.
