Bremsstrahlung and beta radiation fields determination of an industrial radioactive source.

The beta radiation of a 85Kr (3.7 GBq) source was determined, using a scintillator detector, an extrapolation chamber and thermoluminescence dosemeters of CaSO4:Tm. The absorbed dose rates were determined at different distances (region of the operators' localisation) to obtain the isodose curves (in air) for bremsstrahlung and beta radiation.
