A method to quantify wet and occult deposition of aerosol to wheat plants.
J. Aerosol Sci. 21, S295-S298 (1990)
A measuring device based on a weighing lysimeter is introduced, that allows a highly time and weight resolved registration of the change of weight due to deposition processes of rain, fog and dew. It has been tried to distinguish between the water volume taken up by the soil and intercepted by wheat plants during single rain events. Condensation of dew could be registrated during dew nights. The methodology and first results are presented.
