Deposition of sodium chloride aerosol particles in the human respiratory tract.
In:. 1986. 236-239
Aerosol particles containing hygroscopic compounds change their size in the human respiratory tract during respiration. A method has been developed to estimate the change in particle size and the deposition probability of such particles during nasal inhalation. This method is now extended for oral inhalation. Data are presented both for oral and nasal breathing.
