Die Pettenkofer School of Public Health ist ein modellhafter Zusammenschluss von Ludwig-Maxi- milians-Universität München, Helmholtz Munich und dem Bayerischen Landesamt für Gesundheit und Lebensmittel- sicherheit. Unter ihrem Dach sind Masterstudiengänge in Epidemiologie und Public Health verankert, die Umsetzung findet verzahnt mit dem Amtsarztlehrgang statt. Gesund- heitswissenschaftler*innen, Mediziner*innen und weitere Disziplinen promovieren im Ph.D. Programm Epidemiology and Public Health.
The Pettenkofer School of Public Health is a model partnership between Ludwig-Maximilians-Univer- sität München, Helmholtz Munich and the Bavarian Health and Food Safety Authority. Master programmes in epide- miology and public health are located under this organi- sational umbrella, implementation is dovetailed with the course for public health officers. Physicians and those with another disciplinary background can pursue a doctorate, among others in the PhD programme Epidemiology and Public Health.
