Importance of Distance Correction in Near-Infrared and Intravascular Ultrasound imaging for Reliable Assessment of the Cardiovascular Tissue Pathobiological State.
In: (4th Translational Biophotonics: Diagnostics and Therapeutics, 22-26 June 2025, Munich). 1000 20th St, Po Box 10, Bellingham, Wa 98227-0010 Usa: SPIE, 2025. 3 (Proc. SPIE ; 13934)
we present developments in Near-Infrared Fluorescence and Intravascular Ultrasound (NIRF-IVUS) imaging. By correcting blood attenuation on the fluorescence signal, we enhance the detection of the NIRF, improving the pathobiological state assessment of atherosclerotic tissue.
